My name is Susan Moore.
I’m a thirty something southern gal enjoying life in the Washington, DC, area.
Born and raised in the great state of South Carolina (nothing could be finer),
I moved to the area in 2004 with my husband (Casey), dog (Dixie), and cats (Biscuit and Rogee).

This blog is a reflection of my love of consumer goods, great food, and *mild* addiction to television.

Every now and then, I throw in a blurb about running relating back to my love of all things consumer
(because everyone knows that I only run so I can wear the cute clothes)!
I hold Frommer’s near and dear to my heart.  ’Diary of a Travel Guide Junkie’ posts are my perspective on places travelled. 
‘Southern Dictionary’ posts feature words or phrases that I often say that elicit weird looks from those not born in the South.
This is my attempt to set the record straight.
