Rock On, Terriers! October 2, 2007

Posted by smooregasbord in General.

I am not a sports fan by any stretch of the imagination. I am, however, a Wofford Terriers fan!

Sidebar: What is Wofford, you ask? It’s a small, private, liberal arts college located in Spartanburg, SC. It’s my alma mater and, in my opinion, no other college or university can compete! The college just announced a record headcount enrollment of 1,316 students for this academic year. That’s close to 200 more students than when I was there, so that tells you that it is small.

This year the Terriers seem to be on fire! Two weeks ago, we beat Appalachian State and broke their 17 game winning streak. (This is the same App. State that beat Michigan only a few weeks earlier.) Last week, we went up against Furman and tore ‘em up. This week we face off against The Citadel. I’ve always been proud of my Terriers, but this football season seems to be adding a little extra sparkle to my tiara!
