Wrap It Up March 13, 2008

Moby WrapSo this past weekend we flew to Atlanta to surprise my sister-in-law at her baby shower.  The trip also served double duty since our youngest niece was turning 2!!  It was a great opportunity to spend time with everyone since we don’t make it back to Atlanta very often.

My sister-in-law, Ginny, is having triplets, so for a shower gift we wanted to give her something cool yet super functional.  I can’t remember where I first read about Moby Wraps (either a blog or magazine), but when I saw a lady at the mall wearing one I knew that was THE gift. The Moby Wrap allows for quite a bit of versatility when carrying your baby and it can hold a child up to 35 lbs. It’s made from 100% cotton and is machine washable. It’s especially great for preemies (like our soon-to-arrive nephew and nieces) because it allows mom to practice “kangaroo care“. Not only that, you can carry two babies at once which will probably be a necessity for Ginny. The other great part about the Moby Wrap is that you can put your baby in it and then use the baby’s weight to perform strength training exercises. We purchased the original Moby Wrap as our gift, but you can also get the Moby D and the Moby Select which incorporate various printed fabrics and designs. The Moby Wrap can also be purchased with UV protection or in 100% organic cotton.

Hey! Thanks for stopping by. We had a great time visiting and thanks for all the yummy goodies and the grand tour of Casa Wurttemberg. Since eating all of your hummus, we’ve obtained a stock of our own. That stuff is addictive! Love ya.
