Go Ahead and Take a Peep…It’s Easter! March 22, 2008

Yellow Chick PeepsPeeps are a sweet treat that have long been associated with Easter. Those little marshmallow bunnies and chicks coated in colored sugar have brought joy to us since we were kids…and way into college when we would put them in the microwave to watch them grow! Now they’ve expanded the collection to include tulip shapes, other flavors like chocolate, and decorate-your-own varieties. This year marks the second annual Peeps Diorama contest hosted by the Washington Post. Check out the top contenders here. My personal top three are: Thrilla in Manila, It’s a Major Peep Award, and Peepator Craig’s Wide Stance. HAPPY EASTER!

I love Peeps, and yes I remember putting a peep or two in the microwave. Those diaromas are great! I think my favorite is the U2 one, maybe next year we should enter, I’m sure we could come up with some great ideas.

We need to start brainstorming now. I know that we could at least end up in the Top 37.

The Elvis Peep is my favorite, but I laughed myself out of my chair at the Men in the Bathroom Peep!! HOW FUNNY! I hope Ginny reads this today – she is a “Peepaholic”!!! Loves
